Albümü birkere baştan sonra dinledim ama yorum yapılmaz böyle. Zaten ben ilk dinleyite birşeyler anlamam mp3 e atıp kulaktan yolda sokakata dinlicem ki anca öyle. Ama böyle ilk izlenim biraz farklı enstrüman sesleri geldi bana.. Yakışp yakışmışmamasnı sölemek içinde erken biraz sanki.

Kritiksiz başlık açılmıyor diye biliyorum, zaten kritik için biraz erken.

Bunaltı'da var hatta indirdim dinliyorum. Alone'da ki soloyu baya bir beğendim tam konsept şarkı yani hikaye tarzı anlatılıyor gerçekten güzel. Arada ki tonlar falan. Diğer şarkıları da dinledikçe yorum yaparım zaten 9 tanesini dinlemiştik. Geçiş şarkıları zaten olması gerektiği gibi. Calm Before The Storm fena değil gibi. Conquest güzel müzikal açıdan. Sindirilmesi zor bir soundu var bence. Melodiyi biraz Visions'a benzettim. Exiled şarkısı oldukça senfonik. Az buz War'a benziyor bu şarkıda belki alakalıdır şarkı sırasına bakıp konuşmak lazım. Future of Mankind gerçekten hoş bir şarkı ve 8.26 dakika boyunca insanı hiç sıkmıyor. Persuction Nostradamus tadında bir parça olmuş. En başarılı şarkı bence albümde ki. Genel anlamda senfonik öğeleri bolca bulunduran müzikal anlamda inceliğe önem veren bir albüm, beğendim.

Klavyeyi cok kullanmıs Judas bu albumde bence ama daha tam dınleyemedım.

Arkadaşlar albümün çıkmasına 5 gün falan var. O yüzden artık isteyip de dinleyemeyen yoktur. Ayrıca gerçekten iyi saklandı şimdiye kadar. Bundan önceki yıllarda diğer gruplarda ya da Priest'te albüm çıkmadan önce 1-2 ay önce dinlerdik. Bu albümü 1 hafta önceden dinleme fırsatı bulabildik. Tabiki albümü mp3 olarak değil elimizde kutusunu tutarak daha iyi sindirebiliriz =)

Daha kritiğini yapmak mümkün değil. Bir konsept albüm , şarkı sözleri elimizde yok. O yüzden pek birşeyi yorumlamanın anlamı yok ki eğer iyi bir kritik yapmak istiyorsanız. Ama müzik açısından bakarsak şahane bir albüm olmuş. Ortada büyük bir sanat eseri var. Neredeyse kullanılmayan müzik aleti kalmamış. Muazzam bir uğraş ve emek var. Heavy Metal adına değil daha çok MÜZİK adına ortaya konmuş büyük bir şaheser var.
1 buçuk saat boyunca sizi bir film izler gibi götürüyor albüm. Halford'un vokalleri AOR albümünden çok daha güçlü ve tiz. Priest yine yapacağını yaptı ve yine pastasından hiç tatmadığımız bir bölümü bize sundu =)

Nostradamus parçası yayınlandı şok olduk. O nasıl bir parçaydı be kardeşim ? Ama şimdi bakıyorum ki albümde Nostradamus parçasından 3 gömlek üstün parçalar var. Future Of Mankind , Prophecy , Persecution , Pestilence and plague gerçekten inanılmaz parçalar. Albümdeki favorim ise şuan "Future Of Mankind" !!!

Her albüm değişik bir tad diyorduk , her albümde farklı hava var diyorduk. Kendilerini geliştiriyor bu adamlar gittikçe diyorduk. Bizi yanıltmadılar. Ha bize düşer mi onları yorumlamak ? Bence düşmez. Kıçımıza popolin dökülürken onlar orta yaşlarındaydılar. Şimdi 60 yaşına geldiler ama kaliteden 1 gram eksilme olmadan devam ediyorlar. İşte bu inanılmaz.

Albüme şimdilik bir puan vermem gerekirse 10/9 veririm. Priest tarihindeki en akustik , en "sanat eseri" niteliğindeki albüm olmuş. Açıkçası albümün konsept olması nedeniyle böyle güzellikte bir çalışma beklemiyordum. Its Thursday night in Istanbul and the Priest is backkkk !!!

Bencede gittikçe daha profesyonelleşiyorlar niye 10/9 verdin anlamadım. Bence dört dörtlük bir albüm..Ben bütün parçalarından elektrik aldım ama favori şarkın ne derseniz bu albümde bende Future Of Mankind derim..İnşallah bir dahaki albümlerinde bu albümden aldığımız tadı ve daha fazlasını o albümden alırız..The Priest Back!!!

Günler geçtikçe , dinledikçe albümün ikinci kısmını daha çok sevmeye başladım. Death parçasını eleştiren arkadaşlar Black Sabbath'ın 80'lerde yaptığı işleri de eleştirmelidir. Çünkü Death parçası , Judas Priest'in neden bir Birmingham grubu olduğunun AÇIK bir kanıtıdır. Ağır riffler , doom havası ve güçlü vokal tekniğiyle tamamiyle Black Sabbath'ın dediğim zamanlarından çalışmalarına benziyor. Ha bana sorarsanız BS sever misin , sevmem. Bu da demek oluyor ki Death parçası şuan için albümdeki en zayıf halka , benim için tabi.

Babam bile dinliyor bu albümü evde arada açıyor falan... Babamın favorisi albümle aynı adı taşıyan Nostradamus parçası =P

Future of Mankind'ı da fazlasıyla beğendim ikinci bölümden.
