Ronnie James Dio'lu vokalin ve Ritchie Blackmore lu gitarın birleştiği mükemmel grubun 3. stüdyo albümü Long Live Rock n Roll.

Albüm adından anlaşılacağı gibi hard rock/rock n roll tadında çok güzel bir albüm.Açılış, albümün ismini taşıyan şarkıyla oluyor.Gerçekten harika bir parça,melodik olarak lirik olarak insana rock n roll ruhunu hissettirebilen bir yapıt.Genel olarak,rock n roll un gerçekleri yansıttığından bahsedilmiş,ve bu yüzden rock a duyulan minnettarlık var.
İkinci parça Lady of The Lake.Bir kadının üzerine yazılmış bir şarkı anlayacağınız gibi.Gene albümün genelinde olduğu gibi rock tadında müzikal açıdan.
Bir sonraki parça L.A. Connection.Dio nun haykırışlarını mükemmel şekilde duyabileceğiniz bir şarkı.Parçada L.A da polisler tarafından yakalanmış birinin,dövülüp soruşturulmasından bahsediliyor.Bağlantıları olmadığı içinde pek yapabileceği bir şey yok,hikaye tarzında bir şarkı.
Dördüncü parça Gates Of Babylon.Klavye solosu ile giriş yapılıyor parçaya,melodik olarak gene güzel bir parça.Gerçeklerin görülmesini isteyen Dio,bunun için çabalıyor parçada.Ama gerçekleri saklayanlar olduğu için,direk olarak değilde kendin düşünerek de bunu başarabilirsin diyor.
Sonraki parça Kill The King.Hayalgücüyle harikalar yaratan Dio bu parçada kendini gösteriyor.Şarkıyı aynen yansıtan bir şarkı.Kralın öldürülüp kurallarının yıkılmasını istiyor Dio.Ve insanların özgürce dolaşmasını söylüyor.
The Shed (Subtle) altıncı parça.Bu şarkıya da gitar solosuyla giriliyor.Hayattan bezmiş bir insan anlatılıyor.Sabahlara kadar içeceğim ulaghn diye bir hava var şarkıda.
Sondan birinci parçamız Sensitive To Light.Yine bir kadına yazılmış bir parça.Ama şarkıda azgın bir kadından bahsediliyor gibi geldi bana.İsteyen erkek değil, kadın bu parçada.Parça da kısa zaten 3dk süresi var.Sürekli kadının gelip daha fazla istemesinden bahsediliyor Smile

Son parça ise Rainbow Eyes.Dio,gökkuşağına takmış bir kişi olarak her almüde en az bir kere kullanıyor rainbow u.Bu şarkısına da isim yapmış.Şarkı yavaş.Ve gerçekten çok dinlendirici.Ve albümdeki bir kadına yazılmış olan 3. parça.Gerçekten duygulu bir parça,terkedilmiş birinden bahsediliyor.Ve onu ne kadar sevdiği anlatılıyor.O gittikten sonra her şeyin ne kadar değiştiğinden söz ediliyor.Gerçekten severim bu parçayı.Hatta nakaratını vereyim:

rainbow yapar da kötü olur mu... Beni ilk rainbow ile tanıştıran albüm. Albüm kapağındaki çizim ile dikkatimi çekmişti. Herkeze tavsiye edebilirim.

Blackmore biraz değişik bir insan.Ne yapacağı belli olmaz bir kişilik.Rainbow ya da DIO biyografisini okursanız daha iyi anlarsınız.
